Nand Kishore Yadav is an Indian politician who has been associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for over 40 years. He was elected six consecutive times as MLA from Patna Sahib constituency. He became the Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly in 2024.

In 1969, he passed Mathematics (10th standard) from State Marwari High School, Patna City. He joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1969. He dropped out of college in 1974, while studying for his second year of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) at the College of Commerce, Magadh University, and joined the JP movement started by Jayaprakash Narayan. He was imprisoned for about a year from 1974 to 1975. After his release, he became a politician.

In 1995, he became the first Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from East Patna (renamed Patna Sahib) constituency. He won the Bihar Assembly elections in 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020. In 2013, he became the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
