Rawalpindi: A soldier from Pakistani army accepted martyrdom, Indian troops continued to be violent along the control line (LoC), and virtually border-service promotion (ISPR) between the two neighbors was injured.
According to military media reports, Sepoy Naimat Wali followed LoC and was killed by unprovoked Indian shootings in the Baroh and Chirikot divisions, injuring two women in the village of Serian.
In response, the military aimed to "substantially damaged" Indian military bases, ISPR added that there were reports of casualties by Indian troops.
In early Wednesday, two civilians were injured in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
One day ago, the Foreign Ministry (FO) convened the “Deputy Director of India” to Gaurav Ahluwalia in Pakistan to record strong protests against the Indian military's “unprovoked ceasefire violations” following the LoC on 6 and 7 October.
The LoC violation occurs as tensions between India and Pakistan rise on August 5, with the move to withdraw Kashmir's special autonomy.
