Game services stopped shortly after 4:00 pm PT on Monday. More than 13,000 people worldwide have reported issues with Xbox Live on DownDetector (login, game access, Netflix loading issues, etc.). The problem was solved around 5:30 PM, but some users said that they had a slow problem.

This problem seems to be caused by the latest Xbox update. Users will receive an error message "There is a problem with the update" even though the console has stopped working and has not yet downloaded the update.
