Promising heavyweight prospect Sergey Spivak rebounded in an impressive manner last night (Saturday, October 5, 2019) at UFC 243 Live. ESPN + PPV Upset Australian power puncher Tai Tuivasa through a two-round submission (arm triangle choke) at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
Despite the initial pressure of "Bam Bam", Spivak controlled through this fight. Spivak was able to pull Tuivasa to the ground, hit the ground firmly and put a large heavyweight gas tank into the sap, with a total of seven takedowns with three shame of UFC heavyweight record. Spivak smoothed Tuivasa, allowing him to move to the arm triangular choke position, making the most of it. "Bam Bam" was so strong that he refused to tap, putting pressure on him until Spivak stunned the enemy.

With this performance, Spivak won his first UFC victory and completely repaid himself with a loss of TKO in his debut with Walt Harris in May. “Polar Bear” has a lot to offer the UFC's heavyweight division and showed it to the list tonight. Spivak should be able to step one of these submitted victories against another top 15 opponent heading for 2020.
