Mario Lopez & Elizabeth Berkley Reunite For First Saved By The Bell Reboot Promo

Fans of sitcom in the early 1990s Lived by the bell Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, NBCUniversal's new streaming service, Peacock, has to wait a little longer than expected before rebooting. But they were surprised this week when the official Peacock Twitter account posted the first trailer of the revival, where original stars Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) and Elizabeth Berkeley (Jessie Spano) appeared.

Almost 30 years have passed since Slater and Jessie roamed the Bayside High School hall as a student, but it doesn't change much when it reflects high school days at the opening moments of the new trailer.

"Do you remember how fun high school was?" Slater, now a gym teacher at Bayside, asks Jessie, “Can you believe it was the same as it was 30 years ago?”

According to the description in this series, the reboot is modern, and Zack Morris (Mark Paul-Gosselaar) is now the Governor of California. Governor Morris suggests that after several low-income high schools close, students affected by school closings should go to the best schools in the state, including Bayside.

According to the show's official log line, the event gives "a very necessary and entertaining reality for unprivileged Bayside children."

Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski) are part of the series, but did not appear in the trailer, but the son did. Mac Morris is with Mitchell Hoog and Jessie's son Jamie Spano with Belmont Cameli. To the end of the trailer, Slater tells the two boys that he was chasing two mothers in high school.
