Rainbow Highlighter is the latest makeup trend where the online beauty community more accurately maintains Bitter Lace Beauty’s Prism multi-colored light compression powder ($ 27), which when applied to the face gives a beautiful iridescent ombre effect.
A small homemade cosmetics company that sells makeup products to Etsy can barely meet the demand, and more beauty lovers have begun to make their rainbow highlighters into powder makeup products of different colors.
To make your own rainbow highlighter, all you need is a shiny eyeshadow (loose or pressed) in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple colors, powder highlighter, rubbing alcohol, and a flat empty tray. You will also need a toothpick, six small containers, to mix the individual colors and paper towels.

Put the 6 eyeshadows in a separate container and break them when pressed. Add a small amount of highlighter to each color at once and mix well until you get a fine powder.
To color the pan, start with red, add a few drops of rubbing alcohol at once and mix until a thick paste comes out. Put the paste in a pan that forms stripes and smooth it with your fingers. Keep doing the same with the rest of the colors and take the order for your DIY rainbow highlighter. Red comes in orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.
When you finish adding colors, you need to set it all night. As soon as the alcohol evaporates and the color hardens, you can use the DIY rainbow highlighter.

Instagram user AliceAzade made her rainbow highlighter with old eyeshadow and added pink to the rainbow mix.
Making your own rainbow highlighter is easy and it’s best to use the old eyeshadow palette we have behind the cosmetic drawer. But if it’s too cumbersome, you can always get Bitter Lace Beauty’s Prism Rainbow Highlighter ($ 27), and more makeup companies can ride their Rainbow Bash and use their Rainbow Highlighter.
