Authorities in Dubai confirmed late on Saturday that no injuries were reported after debris from a successfully intercepted projectile caused minor damage to the facade of a residential tower in Dubai Marina and smoke was seen billowing from parts of the building’s exterior. This incident occurred amid the ongoing US-Israel-Iran conflict in the region.
According to officials, the incident occurred when air defense systems intercepted an aerial threat coming over the city. Debris from the blocking process fell on the exterior of the residential tower, causing minor damage to the building’s exterior.
An emergency response team was quickly dispatched to the scene and secured the surrounding area to ensure the safety of residents and the public. Authorities said precautionary measures were immediately taken and the situation was brought under control immediately after the incident.
Authorities confirmed no residents were injured and those living in the tower are safe. The affected portion of the building sustained only minor exterior damage.

The clarification comes after a video showing damage to the tower’s exterior went viral on social media, raising concerns among residents and online users. Footage shared online appeared to show part of the building’s exterior affected by falling debris.
The incident occurred amid heightened regional tensions following the outbreak of a conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
Just hours earlier, Iranian President Massoud Fezeshkian said in a televised address that Iran’s interim leadership meeting had decided to halt missile attacks on neighboring countries as long as attacks against Iran did not originate from those countries.
“The interim leadership council announced that there will be no more attacks and missile launches against neighboring countries unless an attack against Iran originates from that country,” he said, adding that the decision was aimed at preventing further escalation in the region.
