How to get a refund for an app or game more than 48 hours after purchase

If it’s already been two days since you purchased the app or game, you’ll need to go directly to the developer and request a refund.

The easy way to find the developer’s email through the Play Store is no longer available, so it’s now mostly up to you to find the email address the developer can email you at for a refund. A good place to start is the app’s page, but you may need to dig a little deeper to find the right email address on a website or social media site. Once you find it, explain that you want a refund and explain why.

It’s up to the developer whether or not to issue a refund, so it’s best to politely explain the reason fully.
