
Prime Minister Imran Khan said Monday that he could not give a guarantee on anyone's life, referring to the procedures of the Islamabad High Court last week in which the bank had asked government representatives to "take responsibility "For the health of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif jailed.
Prime Minister Imran, while addressing the first stone laying ceremony of Baba Guru Nanak University in Nankana Sahib, said: "Today I read a story that the court has asked federal and provincial governments if they can guarantee the Nawaz Sharif's life for tomorrow. "
"I can't even guarantee my life for tomorrow, so how can I give a guarantee for someone else's life?"
On Saturday, the IHC granted Nawaz Sharif a provisional bond after arrest until Tuesday (tomorrow) at the Al Azizia reference. Nawaz is currently under treatment at Lahore Services Hospital for his low platelet count.
During the process, the federal government had refused to take responsibility for Nawaz's physical well-being.
The president of the Supreme Court of IHC, Athar Minallah, had observed that if the provincial and federal governments had fulfilled their duties, the matter would not have reached the court.
When the secretary of the interior informed the IHC that the federal government would not assume any responsibility for the former prime minister's health, the court expressed his dissatisfaction and commented "don't play politics with [the] court "as the law defines certain responsibility of the state.
Prime Minister Imran said today that life and death are in God's hands and that humans can only try.
"The federal government, especially the provincial government, has tried completely. We provide the best medical care to Nawaz Sharif," he said, adding that a doctor had been brought from Karachi and had also sent the executive director of Shaukat Khanum Hospital to Control Nawaz's health.
"We can only try. Humans cannot give a guarantee of life or death. We can try [and] we tried completely, "he reiterated.
Azadi March
Commenting on the & # 39; March of Azadi & # 39; of the opposition, led by JUI-F, Prime Minister Imran recalled that he had said earlier that there would come a time when all the "corrupt elements" of Pakistan would meet.

Following the prime minister's speech, the PML-N spokesman, Marriyum Aurangzeb, condemned his comments and said they came from a scared and unsuccessful individual. It is the prime minister who requires an NRO, he said in a statement.
Kartarpur
Addressing the ceremony after laying the first stone of Baba Guru Nanak University, Prime Minister Imran said that a very symbolic step had been taken today.
The prime minister said opponents had questioned why Pakistan opened the Kartarpur Corridor in light of India's brutality in occupied Kashmir.
"Kartarpur is the Madina of [the] Sikh community Nankana is your Makkah.
"No matter how bad our relationships are, we should never stop those who admire Guru Nanak."
On Thursday, Pakistan and India signed the agreement on the Kartarpur Corridor, paving the way for its inauguration next month before the 550th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Sikhism Guru Nanak Dev.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Dr. Faisal said that according to the prime minister's initiative, the agreement was signed while the formal inauguration of the project will take place on November 9.
