PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz was admitted to Lahore Services Hospital on Wednesday.
According to a document issued by the Accident and Emergency Services of Lahore Hospital, Maryam entered at 10:03 pm in VVIP II.
The same night, he met his father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, at the hospital, sources from the National Office of Responsibility (NAB) said.
The development came after the PML-N sent a request to the Department of Home of Punjab requesting a special permit.
"You already know that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, former Pakistani Prime Minister three times, is not well and has been transferred to the Services Hospital for treatment.
"Her daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif is an underground prisoner in the Kot Lakhpat Lahore prison. She has not been able to ask about her father's health. She is asked for a special permit to visit her sick father to ask about her health," he read the letter.
Earlier in the day, a request for permission to visit Nawaz had been rejected by an accountability court in Lahore.
Maryam had requested that she be granted an hour to meet her father. The vice president of PML-N made the request during the judicial proceedings in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
During the process, the court asked the NAB investigating officer when a reference would be presented in the case, to which he replied that the reference had entered the final stages of preparation and would be presented after the approval of the president of the NAB
Meanwhile, the accountability court judge Chaudhry Ameer Mohammad Khan extended the judicial detention of Maryam and her cousin, Yousaf Abbas, until October 25.
Reading PML-N generates alarm when platelets are transfused to ex-PM
On Tuesday, doctors from Lahore Services Hospital described Nawaz's condition as "serious" despite the transfusion of three mega platelet units a few hours after admission.
According to medical tests performed yesterday, the former prime minister's platelet count "dropped from 16,000 to a critical level of 2,000" when he was taken to the hospital on Monday night, which led to medical board members to seek an "immediate transfusion of platelets to save his life," said one of the board members.
NAB had transferred Nawaz to the Services Hospital late Monday night after his personal physician, Dr. Adnan Khan, had warned of his critical condition in the custody of the guard dog of responsibility.
