Houston invites people to participate in the Global Climathon Day on October 25 to develop solutions to safety and quality of life issues such as air pollution, extreme weather and waste management at local brainstorming sessions.
Participants gather in teams, connect with subject matter experts, and then create solutions to these problems. The event in Houston is hosted by Impact Hub Houston, a nonprofit organization that supports entrepreneurs solving social problems. Climathon will be held at Pierce Street, 410.
Local judges will select the most promising ideas at the Global Awards in Paris.
