NAROWAL: A Sikh tourist bus comes to Pakistan from Canada to celebrate the 550th anniversary of the birth of Baba Guru Nanak.
A Canadian Sikh family organized a special bus to attend the celebrations of the 550th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Sikh religion, according to a video that went viral on social media. The bus has arrived in Paris. The video shows the bus with kitchen facilities, dining table, bathroom and bedroom.
"Trip to Kartarpur" is written on the obverse. It has the map of the route that the bus is taking from Canada to Sultanpur Lodhi in India through Kartarpur. The map shows the bus that crosses the Atlantic in a boat. The map shows the bus that goes to London, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey and Iran before arriving in Kartarpur. The scheduled arrival at Sultanpur Lodhi in India is in November.
The bus began its journey from the city of Brampton in Canada on September 3.
The Canadian Sikh family will also attend the opening ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor. From Kartarpur, the bus will go to Sultanpur Lodhi, India.
The bus is taking the route to Pakistan through the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Turkey and Iran.
The tour, which has about 10 people, is directed by Gurcharan Singh Banwait, who, in another video, made the tour sponsored by other people and they were looking for more sponsors. The Facebook page of "The Journey to Kartarpur and Sultanpur Lodhi" says: "The Journey to Kartarpur and Sultanpur Lodhi" is a non-profit initiative led by the Punjabi International Foundation of Canada. Launched earlier this year in April, our main mission is to promote world peace and international cooperation through a propelled journey that will span half the world. All this is in the efforts to build a Guru Nanak Mission Center in Karatrpur for those in need. "
