New Delhi: Indian police are celebrating their 150th anniversary this week and are investigating complaints about the cutouts exhibited in the museum by Indian independence leader Mohandas Gandhi.

S. Baghel police said on October 2 that they found a graffiti called Gandhi to Gandhi for an awards ceremony in Rewa, a village in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Nobody claimed responsibility for the action.

On Friday Bagel refuted the claim that some residents did not have a jar containing Gandhi ash. He said Gandhi's remains were not kept in a museum.

Some Hindu hard-liners oppose Gandhi and his views. He defended the Hindu-Muslim coalition. This is despite the fact that he is a devout Hindu.

Mahatma Gandhi led the non-violent protest movement against India's British colonial rule and inspired people all over the world.

Most Indians still respect him as the father of the nation. But Hindu enthusiasts accuse him of becoming too prominent Muslims and betraying Hindus, even blaming the bloodshed that was divided with India.
