Bobby Flay had a book signing event to celebrate his new cookbook in Houston on the weekend. Barbie at home. While celebrity chefs and restaurants were in town, he had time to enjoy southwestern Creole cuisine at Brennan & # 39; s-Houston.

Flay (currently featured in Food Network's "Beat Bobby Flay", "Bobby Flay & # 39; s Barbecue Addiction", and "Iron Chef Gauntlet") and an unnamed colleague have dinner at the main restaurant in a luxury midtown restaurant on Saturday night I did. The restaurant told Chron.com.

The fly had jumbo chunks of crab, shrimp, fresh Louisiana oysters, parmesan mushroom rice, and turtle soup with creole butter and Gulf Fish Pong Chartlane.

For the table, Flay and his guests ordered crab cakes, quail beni swing lagniappe and wood roasted oysters.

For dessert, chef Joe Cervantez sent home a "dessert bomb" offering a variety of desserts including banana posters, lemon meringue pies, pecan pies and creole bread puddings.

According to the representative of the restaurant, Flay visited the kitchen, sat at the chef's table and was willing to accept a request for a photo of a restaurant that was surprised and delighted.
