Nawaz responding to treatment, satisfied with care being provided: Dr Rashid – Pakistan

Nawaz responding to treatment satisfied with care being provided Dr

On Friday, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid stated that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was responding to the treatment and had personally told him that he was satisfied with the medical care he was being provided.

"I visited him personally and asked him: & # 39; are you satisfied with the treatment? & # 39;" he told reporters at a press conference in Lahore. "I discussed everything with him. I will never lie to you; if I had not expressed your satisfaction, I would not have told you this.

"We told him that if he wanted us to call a doctor from abroad, the prime minister has a plane ready and we will bring him to Pakistan […] We are sharing all your reports with your personal doctor, "Rashid said.

The former prime minister was taken to the Institute of Medical Sciences Services (SIMS) on Monday after his personal physician, Dr. Adnan Khan, warned of his deterioration in the custody of the accountability officer.

After a three-day fight, a six-member medical board, headed by the director of the Hospital of Services, Ayaz Mahmood, had diagnosed Thursday the reason for the deterioration of Nawaz's health.

"It is acute immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), a bleeding disorder, in which the immune system destroys platelets," said a board member Dawn Yesterday. "We hope that your condition will improve in a few days."

The provincial minister, at today's press conference, explained that before, when doctors injected platelets into Nawaz's body, they would be destroyed, which was reflected in the constant fluctuation in platelet count. Now, however, the supreme PML-N was responding to the treatment, he said.

"The last platelet count is 22,000, which means that I am now responding to treatment. I have been working with blood disorders all my life. I am very hopeful that this problem will be resolved."

He said the reason he had called a press conference was to convey a message from Prime Minister Imran Khan, who promised that the government will accept the court-approved verdict "in letter and spirit."

The leader of Tehreek-i-Insaf in Pakistan said the prime minister has stated categorically that "in regards to medical treatment, we (the government) will not leave any stones unturned."

Sincere prayers with Nawaz Sharif despite political differences: Prime Minister Imran

"Human life belongs to God and […] it is our duty to protect it as much as we can. "

Rashid said the head of the medical board, Dr. Ayaz Mahmood, appeared before the Superior Court of Lahore, while another member, Dr. Saleem Cheema, appeared before the High Court of Islamabad, for hearings of declarations of freedom under separate bond for the release of Nawaz in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills and Al Azizia reference case respectively. Both doctors had presented the former prime minister's medical reports in the higher courts.

"The technical board has presented the report. Even I have not seen it because I believe in confidentiality," he said.

When asked about Nawaz's sarcastic comments about poor health made by members of the government, Rashid said: "I am [also] government. Have you ever heard me make such statements? "

He also addressed reports on the health problems Maryam Nawaz faces and said the latter was taken to the hospital for a checkup.

"I was there [at the hospital] and instructed that [Maryam] It must be kept under observation and all its tests must be carried out.

"The results of all his tests were normal and he was discharged in the morning."

When asked why Maryam had not been allowed to see her father, Rashid said: "Imran Khan sahib he has expressed his feelings he wants [Nawaz’s] daughter to take care of him, but the rest is a legal process. I have told you the intentions of the prime minister.

"You should keep in mind that the courts are independent. The Interior Ministry must have already given the necessary legal instructions."
