LAHORE: The PML-N has criticized the government for giving class C facilities to the vice president of the Maryam Nawaz party in jail.
The first first daughter was sent to jail in a 14-day judicial arrest by a liability court last Wednesday in a money laundering case.
Hitting the government for giving facilities of Ms. Nawaz's class C jail, PML-N spokeswoman Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Maryam Nawaz's only crime was that she secured a portion of the family's property from His grandfather, Mian Sharif. Calling him political revenge, he said Maryam deserved class B according to the jail manual, but Imran Khan's government was even usurping the legal rights of political rivals.
Alleging that the government had crossed all boundaries in political revenge, the spokesman said banning homemade meals, changing his class and treating her like a habitual criminal would not weaken Maryam's resolution.
