US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran came close to a deal but then backed out.
Speaking to Israeli channel N12 late Saturday, President Trump said he understood Iran didn’t really want a deal.
The U.S. president called his recent phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "good” and said they were "on the same page.”
Outlining several options for U.S. military action against Iran, President Trump said he could extend the military offensive to "take over everything” or end it within days, warning Iranian officials that they would resume attacks if they rebuild their nuclear arsenal.
He also added that it would take "years” for Iran to recover from the recent attacks.
