India Germany agree to boost industrial cooperation World

India and Germany have agreed to improve cooperation to address climate change, cybersecurity, skills development, artificial intelligence, energy security, civil aviation and defense production.

The two countries signed several agreements on Friday in New Delhi, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India is eager to benefit from Germany's experience.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, a visitor, said that her country would also like to collaborate with India on infrastructure, waste management and water supply projects.

Merkel is accompanied by several ministers and secretaries of state, as well as a trade delegation.

Germany is the largest trading partner of India in Europe. Bilateral trade reached $ 21.9 billion in fiscal year 2017-18, an increase of 17{7be40b84a6a43fc4fae13304fce9a2695859798abfc41afd127b9f8b21c5f9c5} over the previous year.
