TSU officer in stable condition after crash during funeral procession

Police said the Texas Southern University Police was taken to hospital Saturday afternoon in a car accident near Sam Houston Parkway and South Post Oak Road.

TSU police dispatch Debra Wiggins said the police were stable on Saturday afternoon. An accident occurred after the officer was blocked at the funeral procession, she said.

Houston police did not immediately get additional information about the accident.
