Cub Swanson has called it quits.
The former WEC standout, who moved to the UFC in late 2011, will step into the Octagon for the final time when he takes on Nate Landwehr as part of the upcoming UFC 327 MMA event. The UFC 327 MMA event was recently officially scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
Swanson shared the following announcement on social media:

The 42-year-old Swanson (30-14) has not competed since his knockout win over Billy Quarantillo at UFC Tampa in late 2024 and is 6-3. Landwehr (37) suffered consecutive losses to Doo-ho Choi (UFC 310) and Morgan Charrière (UFC Nashville), falling to 18 wins and 7 losses.
Swanson, who was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame (Fight Wing) for his performance against Doo-Ho Choi at UFC 206 in 2022, also holds the 11-year-old post-fight performance bonus featherweight record.
