Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarship Information

TU Delft offers several scholarships to international students who have shown tremendous potential to pursue academia. One of the scholarships includes the Justus and Louise van Effen Excellence scholarship programs. Founded and funded by the heritage of the famous students Justus and Louise van Effen on campus in the 1940s, he hopes that the scholarship will allow students to continuously create new technological innovations that will lead to solutions to some social problems around the world. Program value

The Justus and Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships programs offer many benefits to beneficiaries. Selected candidates are entitled to a full paid tuition fee each year (along with tuition based on institutional fees), direct scholarships to participate in workshops, seminars or personal development sessions. Annual salary of € 30.000 per year for non-EU / EFTA students and € 11.500 per year for EU / EFTA students.

1. Applicants from overseas enrolled in the two-year regular MSc program offered by TU Delft.
2. Earned at least 80% minimum GPA during previous bachelor's degrees. The degree must be set at a renowned university outside of the Netherlands.

Requirements

The Justus and Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships programs do not have a list of requirements. Bachelor and CGPA

• All candidates must obtain a bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 75% (but may change in certain circumstances).
• The bachelor's degree must be on par with the bachelor's degree from a Dutch based research university.
• Regarding your bachelor's degree, your previous field of study must have some sort of relationship with the master's program you want to apply for in your scholarship program.
• Must earn credible scores for past major subjects

How to apply

1. Make sure you meet all eligibility criteria for your scholarship.
2. Complete the MSc application (don't forget to always refer to the admission requirements provided).

Bibliography Information

• The letter must be officially written in four languages: English, French, German or Dutch.
• The former professor or assistant must be completed.
• If you have work experience, your employer may write you a letter of reference.
• The letter must be written on the official letterhead. or This letter should have the official seal of the previous campus / company.
• The letter must be officially signed by the referee and have a full name.
• If the referee hesitates to provide the letter, you can send the scanned PDF letter to this email address (contactcentre-esa@tudelft.nl). The email must include your full name and your TU Delft student number (the number itself will be provided when you register with Studilink).
  • If you wish to send a reference letter via this method, you must upload a statement under “Reference letter” at http://osiaan.tudelft.nl/. This is done to inform the management office of your decision. Please include your referee's name and email address for further reference.

Important days
