
The Pakistan Department of Meteorology (PMD) issued a warning that a very severe cyclonic "Kycl storm" (VSCS) is developing in the east-east of the Arabian Sea.

"However, under the influence of this system, scattered rains are expected in the lower Sindh and along the Makran coast during October 28-30," he added.
According to the warning, the cyclonic storm "Kyarr" on the east of the Central Arabian Sea has rapidly intensified in a VSCS and has moved west-northwest during the last 12 hours.
"The system was centered at 8:30 p.m. on October 26, near latitude 16.8 ° N and longitude 70.5 ° E about 950 kilometers southeast of Karachi and 1780 km east-southeast of Salalah, Oman."
"Kyarr is likely to move west-northwest towards the coast of Oman and intensify further in an extremely severe cyclonic storm over the next 24 hours," the PMD said in the announcement.
"Fishermen are advised to remain alert and not venture into deep water since Monday. The Tropical Cyclone Warning Center (TCWC) of the PMD regularly monitors the intensity and monitoring of this tropical cyclone," he added.
Meanwhile, Indian publications have reported that Kyarr can also cause heavy rains in the Indian coastal area of Karnataka and Goa. NDTV The Indian meteorological office said that sea conditions "are likely to be very difficult along the north coast of Karnataka for the next 24 hours."
