Former UFC heavyweight and lightweight heavyweight champion Randy Couture seems to have been hospitalized on Wednesday for a heart attack.
TMZ first reported the news. Medium Outlet walked to Couture L.A Hospital. Thankfully, sources close to the UFC Hall of Fame said he expects him to recover completely.
Couture (19-11) retired from MMA in 2011 with a KO loss from Lyoto Machida. The 56-year-old was the first UFC fighter to win a belt in two different weight classes, winning three heavyweight titles and two light heavyweight belts. Couture became the oldest player in UFC history when he defeated Tim Sylvia at the age of 43 in UFC 68.
After his MMA career ended, Couture turned to acting. Expendables Movie and TV series Hawaii Five -0. In 2014, she danced with the Stars with her professional dance partner Karina Smirnoff. For the past two years he has been a commentary voice on the Professional Fighters League, which is currently airing on ESPN +.
