
The federal cabinet on Monday approved a summary that seeks to ban the "militant wing" of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), sources from the cabinet division said.

The ministry said Ansar-ul-Islam was organized, trained and equipped and could be used to show physical strength in the promotion of Azadi March and the goals of the JUI-F.
The summary says that the uniformed force, which carries sticks and sticks with barbed wire wrapped under a political-religious party, apparently aims to challenge the government's mandate.

The ministry had referred to Article 146 (1) of the Constitution that allows the federal government to delegate any of its powers to the provinces, conditionally or unconditionally, with the consent of the provincial governments.
