Solar panels stolen from Haripur school Pakistan

HARIPUR: Unknown thieves stole the solar system from an elementary school in an Afghan refugee camp on Friday night.

It was the second robbery in a week, said Shafiq Khan, the head of the school established in the Afghan refugee camp in Padhana.

He told police that the thieves had finished with three batteries and a converter used to supply solar energy three days ago.

Police had barely completed the investigation or recovered the stolen valuables that the thieves removed five solar panels from the same school on Friday night.

Teachers have demanded the early arrest of thieves and the recovery of the stolen solar system.
