Ketlen Vieira is back.
UFC women's bantamweight top contender will return from a nearly two year layoff on UFC 245's Irene Aldana at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 14. Milenio first reported the news on Thursday.
In second place in this category, Vieira hasn't fought since his victory with the former title challenger Cat Zingano in March 2018. She was due to fight Tonya Evinger last September but withdrew from the tournament due to a knee injury. The 28-year-old Vieira won a remarkable victory over Sara McMann.
Aldana started his UFC career, but won four of his last five appearances. In her last outing, a Mexican fighter won the decision with Vanessa Melo in UFC Mexico City in September. Aldana fought three times already in 2019. She holds a full UFC record 4-4.
UFC 245 is the Kamaru Usman vs. Expected to be headlined by Colby Covington, Max Holloway vs. Alexander Volkanovski and Amanda Nunes vs. There is also a Germaine de Randamie.
