Peter Moor struck eight times as Simbabwe prevented a shock defeat with Singapore at the two-sided meetings held at Singapore's Twenty20 Tri-Series 2019, beating the home team with eight balls effortlessly.

As a result, Zimbabwe finished the tournament with the team with the most points, scoring 3 wins and 1 loss in 4 games. Singapore and Nepal, the third team, each had one victory and no results. There are no finals in the tournament, so Zimbabwe was effectively the winner and the double round Robin League stage was completed.

Singapore was second in the 90-run run between off-run Surend Lan Chandra Mohan (66 off 47) and Team David (23 off 47). There was no significant contribution to either side of the partnership, but Singapore was 167, seven was enough. Daniel Jakiel was the best bowler in Zimbabwe, 27 out of 4 had two.

Singapore would have collapsed from 10.5 over in 1 to 114 and from 14.2 over in 4 to 130. But Janak Prakash's quick 22nd place in the sixth stimulus.

But tormenting Zimbabwe was not enough.

Singapore was hit early, with Janak catching Regis Chakabva in fourth place, but just as in his first innings, he also took a significant second place in the chase. Moore wore 84 over 10 with Tony Munger (44 off 33).

David did well all day by catching the doorman, but Zimbabwe followed other good support. Captain Sean Williams played the second violin as Moore exploded.
