LAHORE: Punja has reported 199 dengue cases reported in several hospitals across the state over the past 24 hours, counting 3,377 since early this year.
According to a report from the department, 2,608 patients out of a total of 3,377 patients were discharged from hospital after treatment.
According to the Health Department report, six patients with dengue fever throughout the state are in intensive care and the rest are not at risk.
In the past 24 hours, 119 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the state.
The report, citing a dengue expert advisory group, said it died of dengue fever from August 1 to September 27.
Meanwhile, local governments have accelerated efforts to destroy larvae and reproduce dengue mosquitoes.
In this regard, the government team checked 233,761 indoors and 70,647 outdoors and destroyed larvae at 1,707 points.
Similarly, 17 people have been arrested over the past 24 hours, and 740 have warned others of violating rules and regulations for preventing dengue. Authorities also filed 76 lawsuits against other commercial places and sealed nine commercial places.
Analyzing the statistics, the report reported 13 dengue cases in Lahore, 148 in Lawal, 148 in Lawal, 6 in Mandi Bahaudin, 4 each in Gujiran Walla and Gujirat, and Muzaffar Garh 3 cases in and Sargodha respectively, 2 cases in Kana, 1 case each in Fasialabad and Shekhupura, no cases have been reported in Multan in the last 24 hours.
