Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah skips NAB appearance in corruption

Karachi: On Tuesday, Murad Ali Shah Sind failed to liquidate ahead of a joint investigation team by the Karachi National Responsibility Bureau (NAB) on its role in subsidizing sugar mills through inappropriate channels.

As reported by Geo News, sources of transplant prevention agencies informed that the Chief Minister had already submitted an answer to this question early.

Shah reported that the Supreme Court is investigating money laundering and fake bank account cases involving billions of rupees before forming a joint investigation team (JIT) in Islamabad.

Five teams of NAB investigators investigated Sind for more than an hour at the event. Irfan Naeem Mangi, head of the joint investigation team investigating the case, also met Shah upon arrival at the former national guard dog headquarters.

Shah is reported to have subsidized certain sugar plants, including the “closed” Tata sugar plant and the Dadu sugar plant, as Sind's finance minister.
