
ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has reintroduced 10 special vocational and technical training courses that you can apply for admission before October 25.
The course aims at empowering those who are already engaged in technical work. Upon successful completion of the course, a special certificate will be awarded.
These consisted of one semester for a period of six months. This course includes automatic service, electrical wiring, automatic electricity, automatic mechanical service, plumbing, welding, refrigeration and air conditioning, steel fixing, quality surveying and civil servants.
Emphasizing the importance of this process, Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum, vice-president of Zia-Ul-Qayyum, said the university focused on the socio-economic needs of people while developing new academic programs.
He hoped that the largest number of people would benefit from such programs to improve their professional skills and academic level.
With a low cost structure, AIOU launched about 1200 academic programs to meet the educational needs of people.
The university is especially allowing women to reach thousands of people who are unable to participate in the formal education system due to social and financial disabilities.
It also proved to be the most beneficial in society at work by allowing you to continue your education while making a living.
Universities offer flexible education that covers all disciplines, regardless of age and living distance.
