
HAZARA – Jalila Haider, a Hazara woman from Pakistan, was recently named one of the 100 women in 2019 collected by the British Broadcasting Corporation.
Haider, a human rights lawyer, protects women's rights in Pakistan and provides free legal services to poor women.
She is also the founder of We the Humans, a non-profit organization that works with the community to provide opportunities for vulnerable women and children.
According to the BBC, she is the first female lawyer in the Hazara community and started a hunger strike in 2018 to protect people.
Haider expressed great pleasure in being listed on the social networking platform Twitter and said it was an honor to represent Pakistan on the list.
“Wow, I'm honored to be part of the @ BBC100women list 2019 in Pakistan. Parveen Ahanger @_APDP also congratulations. It gave more power to Kashmir's brave women, ”she wrote on Twitter.

“When we look back, we realize that politics of conflict, war, and destruction are linked to patriarchy. Now is the time for the world to accept the future as a woman, ”Haider said.
Other women on this list include the precious Adams from the United States, the Parbena Ahanger from Kashmir, occupied by India, and Jasmine Akter from the Rohingya community.
Pakistan's Women's Post was listed on the BBC's Top 100 Women in 2019.
