Less than three weeks after the trial of Amber Guyger and Botham Jean, another Texas police officer was shot and killed a black woman in her home.

According to WSBTV, a white Fort Worth police officer reported that 28-year-old Attiana Jefferson shot at home after calling for a front door at home. The police arrived home at 2:25 am Saturday, thinking Jefferson stood by the window and threatened himself. After that, the office soon fires weapons.

Authorities performed CPR in Jefferson but died at the scene. Police firing deadly guns are currently on administrative leave.

Weapons were found in Jefferson's room, but the police did not indicate whether they were holding weapons during the shooting. In addition, police body footage revealed that he did not identify himself as a police officer.

James Smith, the neighbor who called the police, explained that he was sincerely worried about the well-being of his neighbor.

“I called the police to check for welfare. There was no domestic violence or controversy, and nothing to worry about when shooting guns at neighbors' houses.
