PS4 Remote Play will fully support Android this week

Sony has released version 7.00 of the PlayStation 4 system software, which focuses on updating remote play and party features. Updates will be available this week.

Remote Play allows you to stream your game to any Android device running version 5.0+ on any console. It's actually a feature of certain Android phones since 2014, but it's a feature made by Sony. Now anyone can download the Remote Play app from the Play Store. Sony was able to increase Android support earlier this year by adding iOS compatibility.

The party chat feature, on the other hand, has doubled the number of users from eight to 16, and Sony says it should improve connectivity and audio quality. There is also a new voice-to-text feature that copies text and displays it on the PS4 Second Screen mobile app. Currently only available in the United States. Sony did not say whether this feature will be released in other regions.
