India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, like Imran Khan, wrote Wednesday about the New York Times.

The work was written on the 150th anniversary of Indian independence leader Mahatma Gandhi. In his work, Modi discussed the principles of nonviolence followed by Indian leaders.

Modi seems to have emphasized Gandhi's nonviolent philosophy to counter criticism of India's Kashmir curfew after August 5.

In his opinion last month, Prime Minister Lim attacked Modi, compared the Indian policy of the occupied territory with Nazi Germany, and compared the Prime Minister of India with Adolf Hitler.

Modi wrote about Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela at his dinner. By attempting to mislead the world by comparing himself with these world icons of peace.

It remains to be seen whether the homage paid to nonviolent independence leaders around the world is enough to whiten the Indian crimes in the Kashmir-occupied region.

On 5 August, Modi remanded the constitutional autonomy of the occupation of Kashmir under the Indian Constitution and imposed military curfew on the occupied territories, imprisoning millions of innocent Kasmisris.

Thousands of people have also been arbitrarily detained, and fears of impending genocide in the valleys are increasing all over the world. International media also reports torture detainees by the Indian military.

Instead of focusing on her hygiene program, business insights, and Gandhi's nonviolent philosophy, Modi talked step-by-step through the issue of Kashmir.

"There are many popular movements in the world and even many freedom struggles in India," said Modi. "It is a widespread public involvement that distinguishes Gandian struggles from those who are inspired by them."

"He had never been an executive or elected. He was not tempted by power. To him, independence was not without external government. He saw a deep link between political independence and individual empowerment."

It is appropriate to mention that Indian PM Modi is a member of the right wing Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, an extremist right wing group that assassinated Mahatma Gandhi in 1948 with a weak stance against minorities.
