The National Governmentship Portal (NSP) is an Indian online portal established and developed by the Ministry of Government Electronic Information Technology in India, providing scholarship information for qualified students from various government agencies.
NSP is a one-stop solution for a wide range of services, starting with student support, application submission, processing, sanctions, and various scholarships. This initiative is intended to provide a simplified, mission-oriented, responsible, responsive and transparent (SMART) system that allows for faster, more efficient processing of scholarship advertising and funding directly to beneficiary accounts without leaks.
Students can apply for scholarships using the NSP Scholarship Registration Form online at the NSP website. To start the application, you need to register your account as a new applicant in the portal. You can register an account by clicking "New Registration" on the NSP homepage. Please read the National Scholarship Portal Registration Guidelines on the “New Enrollment” page when filling out the required information. If you are an existing user, please go directly to the "login" page.
After you have successfully created an account or logged in, select the scholarship scheme of your choice and fill out all necessary information correctly.
Scholarships from the National Scholarship Portal are classified according to the government agency that provides the scholarship. Each scholarship system requires different eligibility criteria and applications. NSP scholarships also vary by program.

- Railway Department RPF / RPSF
The Department of Railways offers scholarships through the RPF / RPSF Prime Ministers Scholarship System.
