The next generation of Brazilian grapplers is already making waves today.
Two of the most standout athletes at the 2026 ADCC South American Trials that recently concluded in Rio were teenage jiu-jitsu prodigies from Brazil. purple belt David Santos and brown belt Julio Martins Both beat seasoned black belts in their divisions to win ADCC Trials gold medals at ages 18 and 19, respectively.
