- DIRECTOR

- ACTOR
- ACTRESS

- SPANGRAM: ACADEMY AWARD
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
This Sunday the world will be tuned in to the 98th ACADEMY AWARDS ceremony in Los Angeles, when statuettes numbers 3,141 to 3,165 are awarded to the “best of them all.”
Despite the many things I don’t like (mainly the industry thank you list speeches), I always really enjoy watching the Oscars, although in the UK it requires staying up until 3:30am, and this year I hope The secret agent gets some recognition.
I digress, with little mystery, this issue of Strands was pretty straightforward. My only mistake was adding an S to the end of the Spangram and having to plug it all in again after it didn’t turn yellow.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Saturday, March 14, game #741)
- VENT
- CRUST
- STUFFED
- LATTICE
- GLAZE
- FRUIT
- EDGES
- SPANGRAM: HAPPY DAY
