Viewers can add titles directly to their watchlist while browsing their feed or start watching immediately.
Personalized Recommendations
Disney said early testing of the feature has already seen increased engagement on the platform.
The company said these improvements were driven in part by an advanced recommendation algorithm designed to personalize each user’s feed.
Future expansion
Disney also stated that Verts represents only the first phase of its vertical video plans.
In the future, this feature may expand to include content from creators connected to the Disney fan community, along with new storytelling formats and personalized experiences.
