At least nine people were killed and several injured in clashes between police and charged protesters who entered the U.S. consulate in Pakistan’s commercial capital Karachi on Sunday to protest the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in a joint U.S.-Israeli attack, officials confirmed.
Police surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed said: Anadolu It is said that six bodies with gunshot wounds were taken to the civil hospital.
Police fired tear gas and resorted to aerial gunfire as hundreds of protesters marched toward the U.S. mission in the southern part of the city.
