Anmol Kharb initially participated in various inter-school badminton competitions as a member of the Dayanand Public School badminton team. In his first state championship, Anmol Kharb advanced to the finals. The same year, she lost in the quarterfinals of her first U-13 national team, and the following year, she lost to the then No. 1 player in India, Samayra Pawar, in the U-15 national team. Later she joined Sunrise Shuttlers Academy in Noida. In 2019, Anmol won his first national level title by winning the U-17 All India Ranking title in Hyderabad. She was only 12 years old at the time. In the same year, she also reached the semifinals of the senior All India Ranking tournament held in Visakhapatnam. In 2024, she was a member of the Indian badminton team that represented India at the 2024 Badminton Asia Team Championships held in Selangor, Malaysia. Other members of the team were PV Sindhu and Ashmita Chaliha. The Indian women’s badminton team won the gold medal at the 2024 Badminton Asia Team Championships, which was also India’s first medal in the women’s category at the Badminton Asia Team Championships. She had three matches in this championship, all three of which were knockouts. In her first tournament match, she defeated China’s Wu Luoyu, ranked 149th in the world, 22-20, 14-21, 21-18. In the semifinals, she faced Natsuki Niedira (Japan), ranked 29th in the world, with a score of 21-14, 21-18. In December 2023, Anmol Kharb met Dr. Manav Rachna, Vice President of Educational Institutions and Chairman FDBA, in the presence of Sarkar Talwar, Sports Director, MREI. Won a cash prize of INR 1,00,000 from Amit Bhalla. She also received five years of free support from the state-of-the-art Manav Rachna Sports Science Center and a full scholarship for her academic pursuits from the Manav Rachna Institute of International Studies and Research.
