Below we explain Whether you should choose path X or Y in the special investigation “An Exceptional Thread”as well as the steps for the investigation.

Should you choose X or Y in the ‘An Exceptional Thread’ special investigation?

Please note that in this investigation you will obtain a Xerneas or Yveltal with a special backgroundas well as a Medal with X or Y themeaccording to your choice. That being said, you can (and should, in my opinion) choose the Pokémon you like the most. Whatever you don’t get from this research, you can totally get from raids during the “Go Tour: Kalos” event anyway.

If you don’t have much time to play during the “Go Tour: Kalos” event and want to know what the The PvE meta pick is Yveltal.. Yveltal is a very strong flying-type attacker for raids and gyms, and although Xerneas is also a strong fairy-type attacker, Yveltal outperforms him in damage per second overall. That being said, if you need a flying type attacker, you should choose Yveltal, and if need If you are a fairy type attacker, you should choose Xerneas.

If you love PvP, on the other hand, Xerneas is the best choice.since it currently occupies the number 4 position in the Master League ranking. Yveltal is also a decent pick for PvP (ranked 17th in Master League), but Xerneas is simply better. These are the facts.
