Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Program 2026

The Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Program is designed for individuals from developing countries who aim to help their country achieve its Sustainable Development Goals. this Full Scholarship Program It offers graduate and doctoral degrees. Opportunities are available through our partner universities in Taiwan. Participants will gain the skills necessary to promote socioeconomic growth, strengthen human capital, and contribute to improved cross-border development and international cooperation.


The International Cooperation and Development Fund offers 32 programs for this scholarship opportunity, open to students from diverse educational backgrounds such as Agriculture, Business Administration, International Studies, Health, Mechatronics and Automation Engineering, Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Natural Disaster Management, Pharmacy, Arts and Creative Industries, Educational Leadership, Tourism and Hospitality, and Urban Governance.

ICDF is widely known for its charitable work providing assistance during disasters and international expatriate crises. The organization lends investments, provides technical assistance, provides social support, and provides international training to people in need. Students will learn disaster management skills and practices so that they can lend a helping hand to the country during difficult times. This will create a sense of social work and philanthropy among the participants.


With this International Scholarship Opportunities We offer a variety of programs for international students, allowing them to self-select subjects that will add value to their understanding and help them later in their professional careers. This Taiwan scholarship includes airfare, accommodation, insurance, and medical facilities. In addition to these benefits, international students will receive an additional allowance of $18000 for food and other necessary expenses. Participants will experience Chinese culture during their stay in Taiwan.

2026 Taiwan Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

  1. You must be a citizen of a country eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship and meet additional criteria set by your home country or government.
  2. You cannot be a citizen of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or an overseas Korean student.
  3. You must meet the admission requirements of the partner university applying for the TaiwanICDF scholarship.
  4. You must meet all visa requirements for a Residence Visa (Code: FS) and Alien Residence Certificate (ARC) set by the Taiwan government. If visa requirements are not met, the scholarship may be cancelled.
  5. You cannot receive other scholarships sponsored by the Taiwanese government (e.g. Taiwan Scholarship) in the same academic year.
  6. You cannot apply for this scholarship consecutively. Previous recipients of TaiwanICDF, MOFA or MOE scholarships must graduate by July 31, 2025 to apply for the 2026 scholarship.
  7. You must submit your highest level diploma by July 31, 2026. If not, you will need to apply for the scholarship the following year.
  8. The scholarship must not have previously been canceled by the Taiwanese government or related organizations, and the applicant must not have been expelled from a Taiwanese university.

How to apply for ICDF Scholarship in Taiwan:

  • Complete your online application through the TaiwanICDF scholarship online application system.
  • Upload all required application documents and ensure all information is accurate and complete to avoid disqualification.
  • Applicants may only apply to one program at a time.
  • Submit a separate program application to the college or program of your choice.
  • Submit all additional documents required by TaiwanICDF partner universities before the admission deadline.
