
A four-year-old boy was killed and four other civilians were wounded by Indian shelling from across the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday, authorities said.
Deputy Commissioner Neelum Raja Mahmood Shahid said Sunrise that the four-year-old victim, Hussain Mir, was killed in the village of Bantil when Indian forces began bombing earlier today.
"The innocent boy was hit by shrapnel from a mortar shell in the first bombing attack while standing in his backyard. He died on the spot," Shahid said.
Bantil is part of the income town of Tehjiyan and is located five kilometers from Dudhnial. Both Tehjiyan and Dudhnial were also damaged by the Indian bombings on Friday.
In the Rakhchikri sector, two men, aged 26 and 70, respectively, were injured by the Indian bombing, said police officer Raja Khalid Kiani. Sunrise.

Early in the morning, a 50-year-old woman was injured in the Gaahi Barhu village of the Samahni sector in the southernmost district of Bhimber, according to Senior Police Superintendent Bhimber Mir Abid.
The Nakyal sector of the Kotli district was also being bombed "indiscriminately" by Indian troops, residents said, adding that there were no reports of victims.

Earlier today, Inter-Service Public Relations had said two civilians were wounded by "unprovoked ceasefire violation" by Indian forces overnight.
On Friday, six civilians were wounded after Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in various sectors near the LoC, ISPR said.
