China keen to invest in Halal meat industry Newspaper

ISLAMABAD: Leader of a Chinese delegation, Zhu Maa, has shown interest in investing in the Halal meat industry in Pakistan and exporting it to China and Middle Eastern countries.

Mr. Zhu said this during a meeting with the Minister of Border States and Regions and Narcotics Control Shehryar Khan Afridi.

According to a statement issued by the ministry on Sunday, the Sichuan Province delegation also has several Muslims.

By saying that China has good equipment and services, Zhu promised to showcase Pakistani products and halal food in Chinese markets.

“I have visited Pakistan about half a dozen times and each time it was a great experience. The people of both countries are very friendly. It is necessary to project investment opportunities in Pakistan for the Chinese people, ”he said.

Minister says the one-stop service for foreign investors has been introduced

The minister said the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has created opportunities for underdeveloped countries to rise like China.

"The vision of Chinese President Xi Jinping will benefit underdeveloped countries to join the world and they will grow with the help of BRI," he said.

Afridi said the PTI government had launched a reform process in Pakistan so that it could be open to foreign investors.

“China and its people live in our hearts. The Chinese represented Pakistan from day one. It gives me immense delight to meet Muslims from China who believe in one God and in faith. "

He said China's unprecedented increase reflects that a strong nation can carry all parts of the country and that is how President Xi has done wonders with his poverty alleviation campaign.

“We salute and appreciate the way in which the Chinese government has taken 800 million people out of poverty. Today China is an inspiration for everyone, ”he added.

The minister said Pakistan provided strong support to China during the Ping Pong diplomacy and helped him become a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and that (Pakistan) is still with China when he became a great world leader .

"It is unfortunate that the image of Pakistan has been replicated negatively. I hope that after observing Pakistan closely they will become Pakistan's ambassadors and tell the Chinese nation how peaceful and caring the Pakistanis are," he said.

Afridi said that due to the leadership of President Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaopeng's reform agenda, China has become one of the world's biggest economic giants.

“Entrepreneurship is the path of the Sunnah of the holy prophets. Pakistan has been blessed with all resources. We have all the seasons and we are blessed with our youth and we have rich mineral resources and fertile lands. The return on investment is much greater in Pakistan throughout the region and our government has opened Pakistan for international investors to come and invest here, ”he said.

The minister said that Pakistan has rich resources of religious tourism and that it has the majority of the 14 highest mountains.

“Kohat is an oil and gas producing district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Our workforce is working wonders throughout the world. A window service for foreign investors has been introduced and the World Bank has declared Pakistan the first country in Asia in the Ease of Doing business policy, "he said.

“Every penny you invest here will be attended by the government of Pakistan. More people in Pakistan are now learning Chinese and mixed marriages are being celebrated, ”said the minister.
