Walt Harris will not fight Alistair Overeem at UFC Washington's main event next month as search for missing stepdaughter Aniah Blanchard continues.
MMA Junkie first reported that Harris withdrew from the fight, but the UFC has not yet made an official announcement. UFC Washington will be held at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC on December 7, and currently remain without opponents on the cards.
The 19-year-old Blanchard disappeared near Auburn, Alabama, on Wednesday evening, October 23. Two days later she was found more than 50 miles away from the place where she was reported missing, and forensics found that Blanchard was injured and damaged by fouls.
Many people in the MMA community, such as UFC president since her disappearance Dana WhiteLight heavyweight champion Jon Jones and manager Ali Abdel Rajiz Blanchard provided great cash rewards for all the information found.
