For months, the rumor spread that the tech world was a completely redesigned 16-inch MacBook Pro. However, after a day, the likelihood of seeing faces in 2019 is less and less. As the last day of October is approaching, Apple is close to launching new products for the year-end shopping season.
But there is more evidence to believe that it is delayed than just guessing. The lack of a 2019 release is now supported by a report by prominent Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Report reported Mc RumorApple says it's working on a MacBook device equipped with a scissor switch keyboard to replace the problematic butterfly mechanism. According to Kuo, this MacBook will be released in the second quarter of 2020, providing slots during the WWDC keynote. If it doesn't materialize, you can start with the July 2020 press release instead.
Kuo does not explicitly claim that this device is a 16-inch MacBook, and may be another device. However, the report has clues to wait for the 20-inch MacBook Pro by 2020.
That clue is on the scissor switch keyboard. We've already heard rumors that the 16-inch MacBook Pro will come with a completely new keyboard design, which is expected to bring the MacBook back with extended key travel and a more stable switch design before 2016. Apple has had a lot of success in the last few years to rescue the butterfly mechanism, and the last attempt is early 2019.

That means only a few months have passed since Apple tried to save a butterfly keyboard. If you already knew that in the same year you would release a completely different switch design, the company would not have made this effort. Few MacBook Pros are redesigned on their own.
The idea is backed by Kuo's previous report, released in mid-October 2019. Here, predicted Mogul predicted that 16-inch devices would not appear until the first quarter of 2020. It's designed for the March special event that Apple has held over April in the last five years. It's a traditional time for Apple to release the MacBook Pro, but for a device like this, you'll see spectacular stage demos at Apple.
The 2020 release also enhances additional performance by allowing Apple to implement some of Intel's upcoming Lake Comet Lake H processors. If Apple launched the 16-inch MacBook Pro this year, it will have exactly the same built-in features as the 15-inch MacBook Pro. It's not fun
The story of this delay and frustration is in stark contrast to the all-new Mac Pro. It's FCC approved today and it's coming soon.
