Three people were killed and nine others were injured in a shooting during a Halloween party at a house in Long Beach, California, on Tuesday night, police officials and firefighters said.
The scene was filled with chaos when firefighters arrived at the residence, said Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Karen Owens. A suspect had fled.
The three dead were all men in their 20s, police said. The condition of the injured was not immediately available.
The people in the residence attended a party and wore Halloween costumes, Owens said.
