
Three civilians, including a woman and her teenage son, were injured in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Monday in a heavy Indian bombardment from across the control line (LoC), authorities said.
The casualties occurred in the Gujjar Morr village of Samahni tehsil, in the southernmost district of Bhimber, after Indian troops resorted to ceasefire violations around 2:30 a.m., using small and large weapons.
"The bombing lasted an hour and a half without pause and was intense," said Sultan Bwanber SP Sultan Awan, adding that Indian troops attacked the civilian population "intentionally."

Dr. Iqbal Hussain, District Health Officer (DHO), said a projectile fell on a house in the town of Gujjar Morr, seriously injuring Robina Kausar, 40, and her son Sheharyar Sabir, 15.
"The splinters hit the woman in the back and the child in the feet," he said.
The images of the child shared on social networks showed that his right foot had been crushed by shrapnel.
DHO Hussain said that after the initial treatment at a military-managed health center, both mother and son were referred to CMH Kharian.
The third victim was identified as Khalid Hussain, aka Kalu, 34, who was visiting the town of Gujjar Morr for a personal commitment.
However, since his injury was not serious, he was allowed to go home after treatment at the local basic health unit, the DHO said.
Residents said Pakistani troops had also responded to the Indian bombing.
In a statement, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider condemned the intentional attacks of civilians by the Indian army, calling it "height of inhumanity."
"Almost no day goes by when there are no civilian victims along the ceasefire line [LoC] due to ceasefire violations not caused by Indian troops. The words do not describe the villainy of the Indian army that the cashmere are experiencing not only within the occupied territory but also through the dividing line, ”he said.
