PM takes cabinet into confidence on China visit

Islamamabad-Imran Khan said Monday that the government is playing a role for regional peace and that Islamabad wanted a solution to all problems through talks. The PM, who organized the Federal Cabinet meeting, recently trusted his team for a visit to China and Iran.

Mr. Khan said China has discussed ties with the economy, defense, society, business and people to improve bilateral relations and improve cooperation between the two countries.

Also, China accepted Kashmir in its controversial issue as a controversial issue in a joint press release released at the end of the visit. The Chinese Prime Minister thanked China for this principled position.

The Cabinet expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development associated with China. The prime minister also trusted the cabinet for an upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia to correct the fence between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Briefing reporter for Cabinet meetings, Special Assistant to Information Prime Minister Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, said Pakistan's economic and strategic power could increase the manifold “when brothers Muslim countries are united”.

Prime Minister Lim Lan Khan has instructed relevant ministries to take steps to ensure that the prices of essential items remain stable and to bring them to market for the benefit of the public.

Awan insisted that the government take strict measures on beneficiaries and stockpiles because the main responsibility is to provide goods to the people.

Khan will also convene a meeting of local prime ministers next Friday to discuss measures to revitalize the price control committee at the grassroots level.

The Prime Minister instructed the local evacuation bureau to develop a mechanism for taking measures for proper use for land retrieval and public service purposes. You also need to prepare data banks for these lands.

The Cabinet approved the decision of a previous meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee. Dr. Awan said the cabinet was offered various proposals for the establishment of a real estate regulator.

She said the federal cabinet immediately approved the new Islamabad master plan. For this purpose, professional architects and consultants of international architects are hired to carry out the process.

She said she would consider special environmental concerns while writing a new master plan for the federal capital.

Dr. Wan said the meeting decided to pilot the G-6 sector to introduce reforms and develop it into a modern residential district.

The meeting decided that structural plans for high-rise buildings and other infrastructure would be revised and work overlap would be reduced.

She said the existing Islamabad Master Plan was created in the 1960s and has not been revised so far. As a result, the growth and unplanned development of mushrooms in various parts of the federal capital was witnessed, burdening essential services. This unplanned growth also hampered the beauty of Islamabad.

The cabinet was approved by the Agency for Restructuring.

The Special Adviser said that after the restructuring, the CDA will be transformed into a modern and vibrant development authority that will not only improve the housing sector but also serve its residents.

The Cabinet has approved a policy on Lungar (charity food) services under the Ehsaas (care) program. An additional Lungar facility was decided to install based on a public private partnership.
