The UFC Singapore Qualifier starts at 5 am (ET) and the main card starts at 8 am (ET) and will require another early UFC card for North American audiences. Join Bloody Elbow this morning for results, discussions, and play-by-play for the main card parts of the event.
When the Jiu-Jitsu ace Demian Maia bursts with the wrestling phnom Ben Askren, the cards clash with world-class grapples. Maia now has two victories and is looking forward to three consecutive wins. As for Askren, um … this is my first fight after suffering from a massive 5 second knockout loss in the hands of BMF contender Jorge Masvidal.
On the deck of the co-main event, dangerous Michael Johnson will mix it up with scrap Scott Stevie Ray. Both have suffered severe knockout losses from their last outing, so we expect both players to have something to prove. Also on the main card, the crafty veteran Veneil Dariush will compete with the fierce Frank Camacho. Dariush has won three victories, and Camacho has pursued one after another.
